Recently, a little girl was rushed into A&E after splitting her head open — a frightening and traumatic experience for anyone, especially a child. But thanks to the Teddies for Loving Care Essex Appeal, she wasn’t alone.

Amid the fear and the tears, she was given a TLC Teddy, a small gesture with a big impact. That bear became her companion, her comfort, and her smile in a moment of chaos.

Her mum reached out to tell us:

“My daughter received a bear yesterday after attending A&E… she found this really comforting and it made such a difference to her experience. Thank you so much! She has called her bear Daisy.”

💜 And so, Daisy the bear became a reminder that even during the hardest moments, kindness and care can shine through.
