On the 6th of January 2024, Stanford-le-Hope Lodge No. 5217 showcased their unwavering commitment to charity and community service
as they welcomed TLC Chairman, VW.Bro Paul Reeves, and TLC Secretary, W.Bro Mark Harrison, to Orsett Masonic Hall. The occasion was to express gratitude for the Lodge's outstanding contribution of £5,000 to the TLC Essex appeal.
What was initially a moment of appreciation quickly turned into awe as it was revealed that this single donation was part of a grand total of £78,000 given by the Lodge over the past year. This extraordinary generosity reflects the core values of Freemasonry – charity, compassion, and solidarity.
In recognition of their exceptional support, VW.Bro Paul and W.Bro Mark Harrison presented the Master, W.Bro Steve Peacock, with the prestigious Gold Patron certificate, marking a significant milestone in the Lodge's philanthropic journey.
But Stanford-le-Hope Lodge's dedication extends beyond monetary donations. Upon learning of vacancies in crucial roles within the TLC community, W.Bros. Mark Gillam and Ashley Coleridge stepped up without hesitation, embodying the spirit of service and camaraderie that defines Freemasonry.
To the brethren of Stanford-le-Hope Lodge, your exemplary generosity and selflessness serve as an inspiration to us all. Your commitment to making a positive impact on society resonates deeply, and your willingness to take on new responsibilities further underscores your dedication to the Masonic principles of charity and fraternity. Thank you for your invaluable contributions, and welcome to the team as you continue to illuminate the path of kindness and service.
