TLC Essex is delighted to thank the Board of Directors of Harlow Masonic Hall and their ladies for their generous support of the TLC Teddies Appeal.

On Sunday 2nd November 2025, the Directors and their partners came together for a social lunch at Harlow Masonic Hall. What began as a relaxed and enjoyable gathering soon turned into a wonderful opportunity to support a very special cause.

Through the traditional highlight of many Masonic social events — the raffle — along with a number of generous donations made during the afternoon, the event raised an impressive £526 for TLC Essex.

We are incredibly grateful for this support. Thanks to their kindness and generosity, the Directors of Harlow Masonic Hall have now become Patrons of the TLC Appeal in their own right, helping ensure that TLC Teddies continue to reach children across Essex hospitals at moments when comfort is needed most.

Each TLC Teddy given to a child in hospital provides reassurance during what can often be a frightening or distressing time. The funds raised at events like this help us maintain supplies to hospitals across the county so that doctors and nurses always have a teddy available when a child needs one.

Social events such as this perfectly demonstrate the spirit of friendship, generosity and community that Freemasonry is known for. It is wonderful to see brethren and their partners coming together to make such a positive difference.
