On 4th May 2024, we at the TLC Essex Appeal had the distinct pleasure of joining Engayne Lodge No. 6831 as they celebrated their 75th anniversary at the Upminster Masonic Hall.

This grand and well-attended meeting was made even more special by the presence of the Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master and his esteemed entourage.

Earlier this year, Engayne Lodge demonstrated their commitment to our cause with a generous donation of £250. During their anniversary celebration, their exemplary Charity Steward, W.Bro Eddie Murphy, proposed an additional £500 donation. This proposal was warmly received and unanimously approved by the brethren. We were honored to accept this donation, which I had the privilege to present during the meeting.

In addressing the brethren, I shared the inspiring journey of the TLC Essex Appeal, detailing our widespread impact and the critical efforts we have undertaken to rebuild our accounts following the financial setbacks during the COVID-19 pandemic. Our committee's dedication to this cause is unwavering, and the support from lodges like Engayne is invaluable.

To commemorate their substantial contributions, I had the honor of presenting Engayne Lodge No. 6831 with a certificate designating them as Patrons of the TLC Essex Appeal. This recognition signifies their deep commitment and generosity, which play a crucial role in our continued efforts to provide essential support across the community.
